This continuation of Douglass and Monroe, Ellie and Colum was so beautiful, it proves once again that where there is true love it matters not where you put down roots.What really matters is that you are together to face the good times as well as the bad. Unconditional love is true love. If you don't have unconditional love can you really say you have TRUE love? I think not.

This is a great novel to lift your spirits. There will always be trials and tribulations but love and family will keep happiness alive.
Very descriptive making you feel like you were part of the story. Carolyn is extremely exciting author. I like that she uses actual places and studies them So she can describe them and make you feel like you are there.
Great book. Love this 5 book series by Carolyn Brown. Own them all. And I never give 5 stars, I feel writers can always improve.
Another wonderful story, beautifully told by Carolyn Brown. She makes you feel like you are there, she is great. Wonderful characters, great story line and a great ending. Loved it!

So far it's an interesting read, Caroline Brown has been recommended to me and I can see why people enjoy her writing. Historical romances are an acquired taste but I am enjoying the main character who has already had wonderful moments of depths that are lacking in protagonists in similar novels.
One of the worst books I have ever read. What a mishmash of blah blah blah. Characters were ridiculous, and plot was predictable and tiresome. Nothing good about this. Run away from this author. My brain feels yucky after reading this. Only stuck with it because I must have a masochistic streak.
